Introducing the brand-new Scouts Scotland International Necker!

Posted on

The new Scouts Scotland International Neckerchief is now available to order! All young people and adult volunteers, who are based in Scotland and travelling overseas for an international Scouting experience, are eligible to buy and wear this neckerchief. You can even buy a spare neckie (or two) to swap with any new international friends you meet!

Designed to represent Scotland…

Our country, our landscape, our people, our history, our culture, our heritage,

our communities and our humour!

…and Scouting!

Our movement across Scotland, our promise, our outdoor experiences, our young people, our founder, our skills, and our adventures!

In Scottish colours…

The neckerchief is blue and white – the colours of Scotland’s national flag – and a Saltire is embroidered on the peak of the fabric.

With added Scottish flavour!

The white edge of the neckerchief consists of a woven ribbon that includes 16 different motifs. These images are linked together by a repeating diamond and saltire pattern, representing Scotland’s flag, and our design and weaving heritage.

It may take up to six weeks for your neckerchiefs to be delivered, so please make sure you order them in plenty of time. They cost £10 per necker plus postage and packaging. You can order up to three neckerchiefs per person per international event – we know you love to swap neckies with fellow Scouts from around the world!
