Kenny Paton was presented with his 50 year service award recently. Leaders from the 70th group enjoyed a meal with Kenny to celebrate this milestone.
Kenny began his scouting career in the 45th before joining the 70th as an assistant scout leader in December 1974.
Over the years he has taken part in many summer camps including a trip to Denmark with the 70th in 1977, as a leader at Eurojam in 1975 with the Explorers & the SHQ camp to Denmark in 2009 as well as many Blair Atholl International Jamborettes.
He has also been part of the District & Regional training teams, Appointment committee and District Executive.
He was one of the Gang show cast for many years, before helping in a front of house role.
Martin Buchan presented him with his award. He was also presented with a picture from the group.
