This week the 70th Scouts spent part of the night working their way round three bases. Campbell Cairns from Westburn Explorers kindly came and showed them how to decorate wooden boards using pyrography.
In another base they made big safety pins from wire coat hangers, bending the metal using pliers round a wooden spoon.
In the third base they had to construct using newspaper and Sellotape.
These bases covered elements of the creative challenge badge which they are working towards.
There were also games and tuckshop.
