Gourock Outdoor Pool
Enjoy open air swimming in a heated saltwater pool whilst taking in the spectacular views of the Clyde Estuary. Gourock Pool is normally open between May and September, 20mins from the campsite.

Spring into action at Inverclyde’s only trampoline park. A giant urban playground covering over 10,000 sq ft, you’ll be spoiled for choice with over 60 trampolines including wall-to-wall trampolines, a basketball court, dodgeball court, foam pit and freestyle area.

The Waterfront Leisure Complex is our largest centre and boasts a state of the art fitness gym, health suite, leisure pool, training pool, and ice rink.
Vikingar Largs
Vikingar! is situated adjacent to the promenade in the beautiful coastal town of Largs, and boasts views over the Firth of Clyde, the Isles of Cumbrae and beyond. In addition to the historical and action-packed Viking Experience, there is the Barrfields Pavilion Theatre, a 4 lane 25m pool and a teaching pool for beginners or younger swimmers plus a host of other leisure facilities are on offer including the air-conditioned KA Fitness Studio

ScotKart Indoor Karting
Take your place in the starting grid and get ready for some thrilling action on our 400m Go Karting circuit with not only a fleet of adult karts but Junior karts for the over 8’s as well! The track in Clydebank is a 50 minute drive from Everton and offers non-stop action all the way to the finish line. Home to a whole host of hairpins and speedy straights, you’ll love battling it out in one of our petrol karts. Try out their laser tag as well!
Greenock Cut Visitor Center
Situated in the heart of Inverclyde’s historic water catchment area, the Greenock Cut is a scheduled monument with fantastic views and trails. With signposted trails and hill walk routes throughout the park that vary in length and cycle routes to suit all abilities from off road trails to quiet lane routes.
Kelburn Country Park
Based around a 13th Century castle that’s had an amazing makeover courtesy of a team of Brazilian artists, the estate near Largs, Ayrshire also features dramatic walks. Some 2000 acres is rough moorland, and 1500 acres of the better land is contained within a 7ft wall that encircles the heart of the estate.
Finlaystone Country Estate
A large country estate in Renfrewshire near Glasgow, seat of the current Chief of the Clan MacMillan. Information on the gardens, woodlands and history. The Finlaystone Estate comprises approximately 140 acres of woodland with walking trails varying in length and difficulty, BBQ and picnic areas, incredible wildlife and nature – including trees over 400 years old.
Waterfront Cinema

Ardgowan Fishery
Ardgowan Fishery situated nearby to Cornalees Visitor Centre – Greenock Cut, and close to Compensation reservoir is a trout-fishing venue. Stocked with hard fighting fish, the fishery is open every day from 9 am to 5 pm.
Hillwalking
Everton is situated within the rolling hills of the Clyde Estuary many of which are small and accessible for training and navigation exercises. For day trips we recommend the hills near Loch Lomond such as The Cobbler in the Arrochar Alps , Beinn Dhub on the West of Loch Lomond, or Ben Lomond on its East and many more. Even Glencoe hills can be done in a day trip.
Mountain Biking
Explore the most popular mountain biking trails in Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park. Or try the trails in Dunoon. If you prefer the Nation Cycle Routes, route NCR753 runs from Inverkip and into NCR75. Each area has a variety of skill levels required so ensure you check ahead before taking a group.

Newark Castle
Explore a rediscovered treasure. Great shipyards for a long time eclipsed this castle and its stunning Renaissance details. Contrast its beauty with the notoriety of its most famous noble resident.
Dumbarton Castle
Visit the stronghold that stood at the heart of the ancient kingdom of Strathclyde. Set high upon a volcanic rock in the Firth of Clyde, the castle was a royal refuge. This is a hidden gem on the Clyde with lots of history to explore all around the rock and plenty steps to be climbed.
Laser Station, Braehead
45 minutes from Everton you’ll find the Braehead Shopping Centre next to the XSite centre. Braehead is a large shopping mall, while XSite has shopping, dining and adventure. Why not try Laser Station or one of the other activities at the link below.
Largs
Largs is a traditional seaside holiday resort just a 25 minute drive from Everton, complete with a Victorian promenade and ice cream parlours. Take a walk along the promenade, visit the kids play area, go for a swim at Vikingar or drive a little further for a visit to Kelburn Country Park.
Millport
Take the ferry from Largs to Cumbrae to visit Millport, the capital of Cumbrae. A local favourite, Millport has plenty to see and do. And try not to miss hiring bikes and cycling around the island. There’s even a couple of 7-seater bikes to try out.
