District Bus

Our minibus has 14 seats including the driver. It has a towbar with a 7-pin lighting socket. It is under the 3.5 tonne weight limit which means that any Scout Leaders with a driving license can hire this minibus. Useful for drivers who gained their driving license after 1st January 1997 and who don’t who possess a D1 endorsement on their license.

5th Bus

The 5th G&D have a minibus which is available for other Groups to hire. It has 15 seats including the driver and has a towbar with a 7-pin lighting socket. It is under the 3.5 tonne weight limit which means that any Scout Leader with a driving license can hire this minibus. Useful for drivers born after 1980.

1st Gourock Bus

The 1st Gourock have a minibus which may be available for other Groups to hire on a case by case basis. It has 17 seats including the driver and has a towbar with a 7-pin lighting socket. It is over the 3.5 tonne weight limit which means that only Scout Leaders who gained their driving license before 1st January 1997 or who possess a D1 endorsement can hire this minibus.

Trailer

Our 2 tonne Bateson 340V box trailer has internal dimensions of 3.56m (l) x 1.48m (w) x 1.71m (h). The trailer socket is 7-pin.

Kraken

Available to Powerboat permit holders.
5m Humber Assault with centre console.
Capacity is limited to 4 (5 for longer sessions) per boat plus an instructor. The trailer has a 7-pin lighting socket. Boat is supplied with all required safety equipment.

Kelpie

Available to Powerboat permit holders.

Available to powerboat permit holders. Smaller and tiller controlled for a more hands-on experience.

Note that Nessie has been upgraded with a centre console and an accompanying seat since this image was taken. It is now no longer has a manual tiller.
