6 scouts from the 70th completed their Expedition challenge badge at the weekend. They hiked for 2 days and camped overnight at Everton.
On Saturday morning they began walking from the Inverclyde wind farm where they went over Corlic Hill to Cornalees, where they stopped for lunch.
They continued on from Cornalees to Everton campsite where they set up camp for the night. They cooked dinner on camping stoves.
On Sunday morning they set off again and hiked to Wemyss Bay station via Blood Moss trig point. At Wemyss Bay they got a bus to Gourock and then finished their hike by walking back to the 70th Scout hut on Finnart Street.
They all finished feeling very tired but still with smiles on their faces. Well done to the 6 of them for completing their Expedition Challenge.
