The radio club paid a visit to the 73rd Group to show the benefits of radio to Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers.
Everyone learned how to relay messages via the radio, send morse code, decode messages and how to use QR codes. The scouts and explorers then got to use their new skills to defuse virtual bombs on the computer and play a game of battleships!
A great night had by the whole group & a huge thanks goes to the radio club for coming along and giving their time and sharing knowledge.
