Burns Night for the 70th

Posted on

The 70th Scouts held another successful Burns night in January. They had the usual address to the haggis, toast to the lassies, and reply. The toasts were of course made with our “other national drink”.

There was also some poetry by Burns then the Selkirk grace before they tucked into their Haggis, neeps n tatties. Shortbread was served next.

There was a Scottish themed quiz, tuck-shop for those that had room for it, before playing some troop games.

Just before flag some badges were presented. Eileen got her hobbies and artist badges. Ruaridh, Eileen and Junior got their PL badges. Abi, Max and Jack got their APL badges.

Well done to all!
