Scouts Get Outdoors

Posted on

Over 90 scouts enjoyed themselves at the District Get Outdoors camp at Everton. Everyone tried out orienteering, learned about bivouacs, different kinds of axes and saws, how to put up hammocks and a tree tent, as well as how to start fires with flint, steel and a cotton pad. They also did crate climbing as another activity along with grass sledging. They are now looking forward to the district pioneering camp in April.
