Helping the Foodbank and Christmas in Pitlochry

Posted on

The 85th experienced the kind generosity of Tesco Greenock customers when they helped Inverclyde Foodbank collect food donations there ahead of Christmas. Thanks to everyone involved in organising and especially to the customers who found the time to donate.

The Scouts followed that with their Christmas Camp at Pitlochry. They stayed in the Pitlochry Scout Hut for the weekend and explored the area, before an evening of traditional family games which were kicked off first with a fun quiz.

They dropped in on Blair Drummond Safari Park on the return journey, enjoying the animals, Christmas stalls and lighting. A highlight was the bird of prey display where sea eagles, kites and even a vulture flew above them.

The Troop would like to thank Dougie and the folk at Pitlochry Scouts for allowing them to use their hall for the weekend.
