14 Scouts from the 70th & their leaders hiked across the moors from Cornalees to Everton on Friday night.
Although they had a dry night for their hike, after the recent rain the ground was very boggy and wet.
On arrival at Everton they set up camp under a bright full moon. After having a supper of hotdogs and hot chocolate they settled into their tents for what was to become a cold night.
In the morning, after having a good sleep they tucked in to slice sausage, courtesy of Robert Alexander’s butcher shop.
They then struck camp, and returned home.
