The 85th Scouts had an adventurous time in June. They took the District powerboats over to Loch Striven where they wild camped on land at Toward Sea-sports Club.
While they were there they toured around Loch Striven and up the Kyles of Bute in the boats.
For a special one-time-only treat they nipped across the water to Rothesay for a chippy tea on the Saturday evening. Then they returned to Toward for a well earned rest.
They drove the boats back to Royal Gourock Yacht Club on Sunday wrapping up a fantastic weekend.
A huge thanks to David Nawrath from Kilmacolm Scouts and everyone at Toward Sea-sports Club for helping the group make this whole weekend possible.
