There are various local Remembrance Day commemorations around the District. Here are the details for the Inverclyde event at the Wellpark Cenotaph on 12th November.
The Wellpark Church service starts at 10.45am. The parade musters at the assembly point on Shaw Place at 12 midday. The Commemoration service starts at the Cenotaph at 12.30pm. All leaders are welcome at the Cenotaph, as are network and explorer scouts. The DC has asked the 32nd to parade their Colours and our Pipe Band is expected to lead the parade.
Inverclyde Navy Club will host a post parade purvey.
There is also a small event on 28th October for the Opening of the Garden of Remembrance, Clyde Square at 11am. Muster is 10.45am. See email to GSLs for info.
