70th Investiture and Pancakes

Posted on

The 70th began the week by congratulating the Scouts who took part in their camp at the weekend. It was a very wet hike with a wet & windy overnight stay for their first camp of the year.

Then patrols formed human pyramids and they played poison chair.

Patrols then had to decide whether they were making crepes or scotch pancakes, then had to follow the appropriate recipe before cooking their pancakes.

These were then enjoyed with various toppings.

In case anyone was still feeling peckish they also had a tuck-shop!

After a couple more games they invested 5 Scouts.

As is tradition at the 70th this was done by candlelight with the Scouts making their promise in front of the rest of the troop.
