The 70th Scout Troop enjoyed a 2 night camp at Everton campsite over the weekend.
On Friday night they played wide games in the dark before having a film night in the lodge with pizza supper. Saturday morning started with a litter pick in the forest which was organised by leader Paris as part of her King’s Scout award. This will also go towards the scouts world challenge badge.
The Scouts then worked on some pioneering projects and played games before lunch. In the afternoon they took part in a patrol challenge and then went back into the forest to collect firewood.
After dinner they had a short hike up to the Daff reservoir where the scouts all turned off their torches so they could do some star gazing.
Back at Everton they had a campfire that was run by the Young Leaders.
On Sunday morning they took part in some crate climbing and Tomahawk throwing.
Thanks go to the Young Leaders for running games and the campfire over the weekend. A massive thanks also goes to our crate climbing instructors and Camp Skipper Gary who gave up their Sunday morning to help us.
