ScoutFest is open to all adult members and Scout Network and is all about sharing programme ideas, developing skills, taking part in activities, socialising and having fun with Scouting friends from all over Scotland. It has been such a long time since we’ve been able to do this!
Our theme for this ScoutFest event is Community. We know the last few years have been hard. We want to create a weekend that supports you to be more confident and more active in your communities, help you to tell the world the difference that Scouts make, and finally bring us all together.
We’re delighted that we’ll be joined by our A Million Hands partners and many more interesting organisations too. These organisations will be on hand to help you explore local, national and international issues but it doesn’t end there!
A community impact project is a Learn-Do-Review cycle. At ScoutFest, you’ll also take part in games and activities and learn new skills that will resemble social action and help you to tell the world what you’re doing. So you’ll leave the weekend with great ideas that you can replicate with the young people you support locally and a toolkit of how to tell the best stories.
The Best Activities & Entertainment
In between all of this, we’ll have all of our best activities available for you including the infamous 3G swing, vertical tree climb and our brand new zip line, which is the longest in Fife. It goes from ground level at the top of Castle Hill to ground level so no more climbing tall telegraph poles either, making it much more accessible!
In the evenings, we’ll have a variety of entertainment for you so you’ll be socialising with old friends and new ones , rebuilding networks that we’ve missed for the last couple of years.
So, don’t hesitate… book yourself a place now!
We are keeping things really simple by offering three ticket types for participants: £25/55/75.
We plan to keep you so busy that there will be no time for cooking your own meals, which is why we have kept things simple and included catering in all ticket types.
