Scout Orienteering Competition

Posted on

The annual Scout Orienteering Competition took place at Everton on Sunday. Scouts spent the morning taking part in training bases, covering mapping and navigation skills and Scouting knowledge.

Come the afternoon the Scouts were split into small teams & had to plot and navigate their way around checkpoints where they undertook challenges to collect bonus points.

In the end, a team from the 10th won the competition (retaining the trophy for a second year). Second & third places were closely contested by teams from the 10th and the 42nd.

Well done to all the Scouts that took part, and thanks to our ADC Scouts Gordon for organising & all the Leaders/Explorers who supported the event.
