A group of 85th Scouts ventured up to the Arrochar Alps last weekend to try to find snow for a Winter Hillwalk.
The snow wasn’t there, but they had a great day out climbing Ben Donich. The clouds were high and they were rewarded with views back down over the Rest and Be Thankful as well as to Lochgoilhead.
In the distance they could make out the Clyde coast at Greenock and Gourock with the Inverkip hills behind.
This hike counts towards their Hillwalker badge which they are all working towards.
